My Eyes Only Lite™ (MEO Free™) and My Eyes Only™ are essentially the same application. Therefore, the process is: first, backup your My Eyes Only Lite™ (MEO Free™) data to Aerochive™. Second, restore the data to My Eyes Only™. You must make sure you don’t have any data already in My Eyes Only™ because that data will be overwritten by the restore process.
- Make sure that you don’t have any data in My Eyes Only™. In other words, don’t add any data to My Eyes Only™ before you restore the My Eyes Only Lite™ (MEO Free™) data.
2 Make sure your Mac is connected to the WiFi network.
3 Make sure your iPhone or iPod Touch is connected to the WiFi network.
4 Launch Aerochive™. First time users will have to create a new password. Returning users will have to enter a password.
5 Launch My Eyes Only Lite™ (MEO Free™) on your device.
6 “Tap” on the Aerochive icon on the tool bar.
7 “Tap” on “Connect to Aerochive™”
8 The next screen will show you that Aerochive™ is available on the Mac where you started Aerochive™. On your device,“tap” on the name to select an Aerochive™ server to get connected.
9 The first time the device tries to connect to Aerochive™ on your Mac, Aerochive™ will ask for the My Eyes Only Lite™ (MEO Free™) password. Once the password is validated, subsequent connections attempts will not ask for the password.
10 On the device, you will see a screen where you can backup, restore, or transfer data between Aerochive™ and your device.
11 “Tap” on “Backup Information Now” and in a few seconds your information will be fully backed-up and protected in Aerochive™ on your Mac..
12 After the backup completes, quit My Eyes Only Lite™ (MEO Free™).
13 Launch My Eyes Only™ on your device. (If this is the first time My Eyes Only™ has been launched, the normal password selection process will occur.)
14 “Tap” on the Aerochive icon on the tool bar.
15 “Tap” on “Connect to Aerochive™”
16 The next screen will show you that Aerochive™ is available on the Mac where you started Aerochive™. On your device,“tap” on the name to select an Aerochive™ server to get connected.
17 On the device, you will see a screen where you can backup, restore, or transfer data between Aerochive™ and your device.
18 “Tap” on “Restore from Backup Date” this will take you to a screen that shows you all the past backups that are stored in Aerochive™ from this device.
19 “Tap” on the date and time you want to use for the restore. A warning will appear to alert you that a restore will overwrite all the data that is currently in My Eyes Only™. This should not be an issue, because there shouldn’t be any data in My Eyes Only™
20 “Tap” on “Restore Information”, and in a few seconds all your data will be restored.
21 Check to see of all the data was restored to My Eyes Only™.
