Software Ops LLC of Scottsdale, AZ is looking to hire full time Ruby on Rails developers. We are looking for experienced Rails developers who can build out complex server side systems to support mobile applications for iOS and Android and train and mentor college graduates. Software Ops builds mobile software for sale in the iTunes App store for ourselves and for clients.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist with writing applications using Ruby and web application frameworks such as Rails and Sinatra to support the fast growing mobile market.
• Requirement gathering, modeling, development and deployment in a Linux environment, specifically Heroku.
• Applying graphical look and feel to application pages.
• Handle new feature and bug requests.

Required Skills

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• You use and love the Macintosh platform. We are a 100% Mac shop.
  Expert in Ruby, Rails, OO design patterns and unit testing.
• Expert in Javascript, XHTML and CSS.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or other database technologies.
  Has previously released and maintained web applications in a production environment (Open Source or Corporate)
• Good communication skills with team members and project stakeholders.
• Team player in an agile environment
