iTunes Keeps a Backup of MEO Data

During the sync process with iTunes, iTunes takes a backup of MEO and all its data. This is true for all other applications and data on your iPhone or iPod Touch. iTunes only keeps the latest data in case it becomes necessary to restore the data back to your device or a different device in yours was lost or stolen.

Also note that Software Ops is working on an archiving desktop application.
