I want to add that I have received gobs of emails from Australians, asking for features and some great folks sending me details and links to images. What a great bunch of people!

PS Do you think the mates know what gobs means? Hmm?

I just purchased My Eyes Only from the App Store today.  Downloaded it onto my iPhone, went through the process of passwords, hint, etc.  Then it disappeared from my iPhone.  I don't want to download it agin and get charged.  What do I do?

First thing you can down load again and you will not be charged. As long as you use the same account. You may have to end up doing that.

1-make sure that you have iphone os 2.1. Get it if you don't gave it.
2 - reboot your iPhone. Did the app show up again?
3- did you sync today? If so it might be backed up to iTunes and will get synced back on your iPhone.

4- down load again at no charge.

Good application although we don't have a social security card and a driving licence card would be good for this app also not all credit cards are gold master cards and Amex has a range that have different colours this would make things easier to pick out quickley.

Program is great. However, I would suggest password come up upon entering and download more credit cards types (sears, macys, etc). Otherwise it is perfect!

Setting when the password is requested.
An option to request password at startup. If you want to keep all your information private, go to Setting -> Password Setting and Request Password At Start -> change it to Request Password At Start

The new Settings screen includes Password Settings

The new Password Settings screen allows you to select when you want to have MEO ask for your password.

Great program you created. Maybe add a few australian features such as Medicare Card Number etc.

Apart from that, great stuff.

About 3 out of 5. Great look, good feel, east input.  BIG thing needed is the posibility to add own lables,Fields (or change name). Make groups within a group. Similar to 'Handy Safe'.

You are correct on all points.  MEO isn't as flexible and others, but it is much easier to use.  My goal is to keep it easy to use and provide flexibility for customization.  That will come in the future, but first I'm going to expand identity cards, credit cards and make a better financial category.

I'm also going to support other counties better.

Not sure if this is a feedback address but...

I love this app but you need to do on thing. The color combination of the field backgrounds and the prompt words make those words almost unreadable ("first name" "last name" etc.). Needs contrast.

Agreed! Long story short, Apple has fixed a bug in iPhone OS 2.1 that now allows me to clean up this problem starting in MEO Version 1.3. It is MUCH better.

I love this program for its simplicity, security, and the way it displays or layout for entering data. But it also should be customizeable for adding more manageable informations.

Hi at Softwareops!

I bought MyEyesOnly and have a couple suggestions that instantly crossed my mind:

• In the category FINANCIAL ACCOUNTS you should add "IBAN" which is the European standard to identify an account. In essence this is a combination of country, account number and routing code. You can find further information under: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IBAN
• CREDIT CARDS: Financial accounts in europe are typically used with a form of debit card. Those debit cards that literally every european account customer has, usually is not tied to the credit card system of Master Card and Visa, hence the limitation for the number under "other cards" does not suit European Customers. Can you fix that?
• IDENTITY CARDS: should include passports, driver's license and stuff like this. SSC only of interest for US costumers.

In general speaking your app is quite nice, even though there is quite some work left to make it appeal more for non-US customers. I'm looking forward to further updates. The most important feature is the safety of the information. 

BTW: Do you need some help for a German translation?

This is a great suggestion, one that we would never have figured out without customer involvement. IBAN is in version 1.3 as are specific identity cards for the German market.

About the Credit cards, or perhaps better described, bank card request. I’m not sure we’ve solved this issue. But there is always a next release ...

Great app!  It's very intuitive!  There seems to be a place for most items.

As a guy who travels every other week I would love to see a way to add your own categories such as frequent flyer numbers, frequent stay hotel membership, and club memberships.

Also, under the identity card section a Drivers License and Passport area would be a nice touch.

I love the credit card eye candy look but the other areas lack the same I candy look. Perhaps you can have an accounting ledger or a bank statement . Perhaps a check book. That generic blue doesn't look very eye candy or even iphoneish.

Your application will be successful because the interface is very intuitive. Of course you're competing with eWallet so you'll need a steady stream of feature releases to remain relevant to those looking to purchase only one PIM application but you're off to a wonderful start and I applaud your efforts.

The interface is well designed and easy to use, while at the same time, it provides exactly what is needed. Nothing more or less.  So I can tell that you have a desire to make this a good program, and I think it ranks in the top 2 apps that I have purchased for my iTouch! This is a GREAT app, and I am looking forward to exploring its capabilities when I can afford a little more time.

Entering new cards and such is fast and easy. I like the credit card images (and especially the space for the customer service numbers). This is a great replacement from the “little black book” and will be specially useful (for me, anyway) when traveling so I don’t have to keep photocopies of my credit cards. The clear look is simple and easy to read. Very nice.

Application works and looks great. It has not crashed, frozen or caused my phone to malfunction. Having all your information at your fingertips for about the price of a cocktail, what a deal!

This application is what iphone is all about. Useful and elegant to use. It captures all my important passwords and information in one easy to find place and allows one password access for all. Simple application navigation and looks great. Feel good that itunes backs up but information is not floating around somewhere.
