FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Ding is Apple’s staff pick for the week of October, 27th through November 2nd. Out of 13,100 apps in the entertainment section of iTunes Store, Ding was chosen as an Apple staff pick. It is extraordinary the Software Ops product team has been recognized with a staff pick shortly after the flagship app My Eyes Only(tm) was selected for the What’s Hot category on the app store.

“I am so excited and honored that Apple loved our entertainment app, Ding” says Lynn Michels of Software Ops. “Out of 13,100 apps in the entertainment section, Apple picked our app as a staff favorite, that is truly an accomplishment and says a lot for our app” says Michels.

Apple chooses certain applications to feature on the front page of the iTunes store each week. It helps promote the developer’s products and shows that Apple’s employees really do look over the applications and vote on their favorites to post on the front page. It gives the app store a personal touch. Not everyone may agree with all the staff picks, but it gives an application a chance to be in the forefront and gives it an opportunity to be seen by many people.

Features that set Ding apart from other apps is it has several different dialogs to choose from. Once a user has gone through one of the dialogs, the screen slides in a new background color and a new dialog. The different background colors show the user that they have a new dialog and have a reference color for their favorite one.

Ding can be found on the Apple iTunes App Store in the entertainment section, where it can be downloaded onto the iPhone or iPod Touch. The introductory sale price for this application is 99¢.

So have fun, laugh and see what Ding has to say. He may be happy to see you, completely annoyed with you, or even talk a little naughty. It’s a lot of fun for less than the price of a pack of gum.
