How To Buy

Aerochive™ is purchased from within the application using the Purchase menu item under the Aerochive menu. First download and install Aerochive™ and when you are satisfied it is backing up, you can make the purchase.

Password Protection and Encryption

Aerochive™ password protects and encrypts the data on your Mac or PC using builtin AES 256 bit encryption. The data is also fully encrypted while transporting between your device and your Mac over your WiFi network. Aerochive™ is fully password protected to keep you information safe.

What’s NOT in Aerochive™ 1.0

(This is important to note because we don’t want to mislead our MEO and MEO Free™ users.)

- Adding MEO and MEO Free™ data from within Aerochive™ is not currently supported.

Syncing data between the device and Aerochive™ is not supported. Aerochive™ only does backups and restores.
Syncing with the USB cable is not supported. Apple only allows 3rd party applications to connect to the desktop with WiFi.
Automatic Aerochive™ Backup when syncing your iPhone with iTunes is not supported. You must initiate the backup manually.

Why buy Aerochive?

Customers have lost their data in many ways. The good news is that it is a rare occurrence. If this happens to you, do not sync with iTunes! Follow these instructions to do a full restore if you don't have Aerochive. If you have Aerochive you are safe.

iPhone OS or App Updates - This is a sad fact but it is true. Sometimes when iPhone/iPod users taken an update of the iPhone OS or any app that keeps data, the data is lost.

The App is Deleted on the iPhone - This happens often, usually by accident. A simple sync will not get your data put back onto the iPhone; instead an "empty set of data" is backed-up over the last good backup in iTunes and your data is forever lost. Third part app data is not synced with iTunes and automatically synced back. A single backup is saved and you must do a full restore to get the data back. This only works if you haven't already backed-up an "empty set" to iTunes. More about the process here.

Lost iPhone
If an iPhone is lost and follow the proper restore procedure all third party app data will be restored. But many customers don't and when they sync the "empty set" problem occurs and they lose all their data.

Apple Genius Confusion -Because all Apple iPhone software sync with either Mac software or Windows software, Apple Geniuses believe that is the case for third party apps. It's not true. A My Eyes Only customer was told by a Genius to delete all the apps off their iPhone and add them back one at a time to solve a performance problem. Since, third party apps don't sync through iTunes, each time the customer added the third party app and synced, it backed-up an "empty set" of data. The customer lost ALL their third party app data. Everything including My Eyes Only data.

Forgotten Password - This can happen and if it does, you can do a full wipe on your iPhone and simply do a restore of your data using Aerochive.
